Walter J. Arsenault, 92, of Erie, CO, passed away on April 18, 2020, in Erie, CO.
Funeral service will be held at St. Scholastica Catholic Church on Thursday, April 23rd, 2020 at 12:00 PM with Fr. Robert L. Wedow of St. Scholastica Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at Louisville Cemetery, 2105 Empire Rd., Louisville, CO. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic there with be no visitation.
Walter was born in Malden, Massachusetts to Phoebe and Gerry Arsenault on April 4th, 1928. He went to St. Joseph’s High School in Everett and graduated in 1946. He worked as a machinist for Market Forge Industries Inc. of Everett for 45 years. He was a loyal fan of The New England Patriots and The Boston Bruins. He was also a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Church of Malden for over 50 years. A longtime member of the French Naturalization Club of Chelsea serving on the Board of Directors and an organizer of events.
Walter is survived by his wife, Jeanette Palmerini Arsenault of Erie, son Walter Arsenault, daughter Debra Goodman, son-in-law Edward Goodman, grandson Mitchell Goodman, sister Bella Hurly, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Phoebe and Gerry Arsenault and Sister Rhoda Hurley.
