Stanley Sadowski was born in Salem, Massachusetts. He lived there until being stationed in Vienna, Austria after World War II where he met Frieda, the woman he loved and married. After returning from Austria they lived in Salem where Alec (as he was known to his family) and Frieda lived and raised two daughters. After they retired Alec and Frieda lived in Florida for twenty years before moving to Broomfield, Colorado in 2003.
During his last week of live Stanley celebrated a wonderful Christmas with his family. He died surrounded by his family and friends who loved him, including his new great grandson Abraham. He was preceded in death by his wife Frieda Sadowski, his grandson Christopher Werner and his eight siblings.
Stanley is survived by his two daughters, Alex (married to Mitch) Paris and Diane Sadowski (married to Paul Werner), as well as two grandchildren Matthew(married to Amy) Baris and Alyssa (married to Mark) Leonas, great grandson Abraham Baris and many loving family members in and around Salem.
Arrangements are being made for a celebration of Stanley’s life. Contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans or Broomfield Senior Services.
