Miraa Joanne Neill

Miraa Joanne Neill, 68, of Boulder died Friday, January 2, 2015 at Boulder Community Health. A celebration of Miraa’s life will be held at the Nyland Co-Housing Common House from 12 noon to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 25, 2015. Miraa lived in the Boulder area off and on for the last forty years. She was born August 31, 1946 to Raymond and Violet Hillebrand in Burbank California. She moved to Boulder to train as a Rolf Practitioner and studied under Ida Rolf. Miraa is survived by her mother Violet Hillebrand of Newbury Park, CA; as well as her son Mical Neill and his two children Rafael and Adam of Cagliari, Italy. She is preceded in death by her daughter Merissa Tobin, her father Raymond Hillebrand, and her brother Kenneth Hillebrand. “The most important action anyone can take is to share something beautiful with the world. Miraa gave her love freely with every breath. Her love was always returned by her loving family, grandchildren, and beautiful angels of friends on her incredible journey through the exploration of the universe in all its unbelievable forms!” Contributions may be made in her name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
