M. John Bernstein of Boulder died Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Manor Care in Boulder. He was 94.
A memorial service in celebration of John's life will be held at Atonement Lutheran Church, 685 Inca Parkway, Boulder, CO, on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army. A reception will follow the service.
John was born June 10, 1920 to Isidore and Fanny Bernstein in New York, New York. He graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a Masters in Science, as well as from Harvard Business School with a Master’s in Business.
On November 22, 1947 John married Katherine M. Growden in Toledo, Ohio. They were married for 63 years.
John was formerly employed by Consolidated Electrodynamics Corporation., as a Corporation Planning Manager, 1952-58, Librascope /General Precision Corporation, as a Director of New Business Development, 1959-1963, LTV Corporation, as the Senior Financial Specialist, 1963-1965, Ball Brothers Research, as the Manager of Sales, 1965-1971, Western Tele-Communications, as the National Sales Manager 1972-1982, Johnson Engineering, as the Director of Business Development, 1983-1988, Consultant to Management, 1989-2015.
He is survived by his nephew Walter Roch von Rochsburg, of Frankfort, MI..
