Mary Jane Rudolph, a longtime Boulder County resident passed away peacefully on November 14, 2018. She was 83.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 30, 2018, 10:00 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 715 Cabrini Dr., Lafayette, CO 80026. A reception will follow the service at the church.
Mary Jane was born on September 21, 1935 to William and Gertrude McLaughlin in Hammond, Indiana. She met her future husband, Jack Rudolph, in grade school and they started dating during their senior year in high school. Jack and Mary Jane married in 1957 and started a family soon after, moving to Bloomington, Indiana where Jack attended IU. After Jack finished school the couple moved back to Hammond, but when Jack was offered the opportunity to work for a bank in Colorado, the couple moved to Boulder with their four children in tow.
Mary Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many. She enjoyed golf, playing dominoes, and watching college football. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jim, Dick and Bill McLaughlin, her husband Jack and son Mark. She is survived by her son Michael of San Diego, CA, daughters Nancy Faulkner of Centennial and Lisa Fruehauf (Todd) of Boulder, grandchildren Christopher Rudolph, Jason Faulkner, Jordan Faulkner, Caitlyn Fruehauf and Zach Fruehauf.
