Lloyd James Forrestal, 83, of Boulder, died February 12, 2014.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6739 South Boulder Road, Boulder, at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Burial will take place at the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church Cemetery, with military honors provided by the United States Army. A reception will follow the services at the church.

Lloyd was born in Rochester, NY to Patrick J. Forrestal and Mary (Lloyd) Forrestal on May 4, 1930. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Lloyd graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he received his B.S. degree and Ph.d. in Chemistry. He retired from AMF Head Ski and Cobe Laboratories. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Boulder, University of Notre Dame Alumni Club and East Boulder Optimist Club.
Lloyd married Arline Laemlein on November 26, 1953 in Rochester, New York.
Lloyd is preceded in death by one daughter in 1995, Kristin Jones and one sister, Mary Patricia Carstensen.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Arline of Boulder; three sons, Patrick (Kathy Gondrezick) Forrestal of Denver, Joseph Forrestal of Boulder, and David (Kristen) Forrestal of Broomfield; and two daughters, Lisa (Robert) Meyers of Lafayette and Johanna (Joe) Padilla of Superior. Survivors also include his 6 grandchildren (Patrick, Renee, Adam, Mollie, Alec and Nora).
