Layne P. Corzine

Layne P. Corzine, of Scottsdale, AZ and formerly of Boulder, CO, 76, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 while in the care of Hospice. Layne was born on June 5, 1945 in Shreveport, LA. She moved with her family to Boulder, CO in 1955 and arrived in Scottsdale, AZ in 2006. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Terry L. Corzine, a sister Lisa Shaw, two stepsons Kevin and Chad Corzine, 4 grandchildren, 2 nephews and 3 nieces. Layne obtained an associate degree from Gulf Park College in Gulfport, MS. She worked as a Secretary to the President of United Bank of Boulder, part owner of the Puddle Car Wash in Boulder. Layne’s passion was cooking and providing the imagination she had for food with the many friends who crossed her path. She especially enjoyed the challenges of hosting tailgates at the CU football games. Her lasting passion were her beloved kitty’s – Mandy, Cinder and Lupe. Layne was the Sunshine of Terry’s life and the remaining days will be dimed with her loss. A Graveside Service will be held Sat., Dec. 4, 2021 at 11am at the Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery, 3016 Kalmia Ave, Boulder, CO 80301. A reception will follow the service.
