Ken passed from us too soon from this earth. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Ken touched and imprinted on many people's lives through his humble and kind heart, he is remembered for his love of his children, his strong work ethic, his art, and love of the outdoors. A man of few words but a good listener, Ken was a gentle soul to all living beings.
Born in San Jose, CA to Marylin and Charles Larke, Ken enjoyed childhood memories in the Sierra Mountains and by the ocean of Santa Cruz, CA. Ken moved to Colorado in 1998 where he married and had two children. For the past 20 years, he worked as a logistic and project manager for Vaisala in Louisville, CO. He enjoyed creating things out of recycled materials and spent much of his free time in nature, putting his blood, sweat and tears into the land while helping grow vegetables at Ollin Farms. He could be found working the Longmont Farmers Markets on the weekends and often dreamed about owning his own farm where he wanted to raise animals on pasture.
He is survived by his father Charles Larke, his children Kurtland and Cierra Larke of Colorado and Jason and Matthew Larke of Nevada, his brother Sam Larke of San Jose, and many family and friends.
