Kalyn Kennedy

Kalyn Kennedy was born on December 28, 1962, in Canyon, TX, and died on February 10, 2023, at Balfour in Louisville, CO, surrounded by family and friends. Kalyn worked as a personal care provider at the Mary Sandoe House in Boulder and Balfour in Louisville, she loved her work and everyone she that worked with. She also loved rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, roller coasters, hot tubs, hot springs, beaches, Disney World, bowling at the Coal Creek Bowling Center, swimming at the Bob Burger Recreation Center and her beloved dog Tigger, who predeceased her. She attended Flatirons Community Church. She was predeceased by her parents Duane Kennedy and Karen Copeland Kennedy and uncle Douglas Gifford. She is survived by her sister Jeton Woody of Yukon, OK, her brother James Kennedy and his wife Connie of Keystone Heights, FL, her aunt Gerry Kennedy Gifford and cousin Mary Henry O’Connor of Lafayette, CO, and many nieces and nephews. Kalyn will be greatly missed by those who loved her. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Kalyn's name to Becca Mack at the Bob Burger Recreation Center for scholarships. A celebration of Kalyn's life will be on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 11:00 am at Reclaimation Church, 7690 Baseline Road, Boulder, CO 80303.
