Jimmie McAbee

Jimmie Terry McAbee, 76, of Boulder, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Boulder Community Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 715 Cabrini Drive, Lafayette. Private family burial will take place at Mountain View Memorial Park in Boulder, CO. Jimmie was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Curt McAbee and Earma Green on January 10, 1937. He completed his high School education at Boulder High School and later attended the University of Colorado. Jimmie served and retired from the Colorado Air National Guard and attained the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He was assigned as an AC & W Technician and Traditional Guardsman, from 1955 - 1975, at Buckley Field ANG Base CO. From 1968 to 1992 he worked for Honeywell Inc. as their factory relations manager. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Earma Campbell. He is survived by: brother, Robert W. (Jan) Green of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Susann (John) Brieske of Tempe, AZ; nephews, Chris Green and Chris Brieske; nieces, Stephanie Benson and Beth Madison.
