Jennie Polizzano passed away peacefully at her home in Broomfield, Colo. on Nov. 24, 2018. She was 91.
She was born July 23, 1927 to Joseph Arnone and Fannie Santangelo Arnone, and grew up in Staten Island, N.Y.
She married Joseph Polizzano on Jan. 16, 1949. The couple lived in New Jersey, where they raised their two daughters, for many years before moving to Florida in later life. They moved to Colorado in 2005.Jennie worked as a seamstress before becoming a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela Polizzano of Louisville, Colo.; a granddaughter, Nicole Mok and her husband David; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Owen and Jackson Mok.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2013; her daughter Joanne Varga in 2008; and her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4 at St. Louis Catholic Church, 902 Grant Ave., Louisville, CO 80027.
Interment will be held Dec. 7 at Moravian Cemetery in Staten Island.
