Jeffrey Gaines

Jeffrey Scott Gaines, son of Jerome "Jerry" and Gerrie Gaines, brother to Mark Gaines, and Kim (Gaines) Palmer. He was an artist, lover of animals, and spiritual being. He peacefully passed away on Thanksgiving Day, two weeks shy of his 62nd birthday, after a tough battle with cancer. Jeff moved to Boulder nearly 35 years ago from New Mexico. Jeff founded Fire and Earth Ceramics over 25 years ago. His beautiful, one of a kind creations can be found around the world, as well as locally at the Med Restaurant in Boulder, and in homes of the rich and famous including, Paul McCartney, Barbara Walters, and Wolfgang Puck. After 28 years of blood sweat and tears, Jeff sold his business and was looking forward to retirement with the intentions to travel the world. Sadly Jeff didn't get the chance to view the world as he had hoped. With his strong belief in the spiritual realm, family and friends are sure he has seen the world and more since his passing.
