Gloria Rozzo of Louisville, Colorado, died peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the age of 87.
Gloria came into the world with a bang on the 4th of July, 1928. From the beginning she had a zest for life and a caring heart. She married Steve Rozzo on June 12, 1949, and they spent 57 years together until Steve’s passing in 2006. They resided in White Plains, New York, but fell in love with Colorado and relocated here in 1979.
Gloria was a devoted wife and mother, as well as an accomplished artist. Gloria was an active member of Sacred Heart of Mary Church and was extremely involved in the community. Over the years, she gave of her time freely to many organizations and causes. She touched many lives with her talent and generosity.
She is survived by her son, Stephen J. Rozzo of Los Angeles, California; daughters Nancy Marie Hall of Houston, Texas, and Jeanine Kennedy of Broomfield; brother David Villecco of Broomfield and seven grandchildren.
Today, we celebrate Gloria’s life and rejoice in the knowledge that she is now at peace and in the presence of Our Lord.
