Florence E. Kellow, 81, of Boulder, Colorado, died peacefully in her home, April 2, surrounded by family. She has joined her soulmate Raymond who preceded her in death.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. in, St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 3700 Baseline Road, Boulder. A reception will follow at the church.
Florence was born on July 9, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA to Augustus and Hazel Lukens. She married her "Secret Love" Raymond E. Kellow Sr. in 1954.
Florence was a devoted and loving wife to Ray for 56 years. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren have all been blessed by her kindness, generosity and caring nature. She always embraced those in need through her work with Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church where she worked in the concern center and teaching Sunday school. Florence had a way of helping people feel at ease, no matter what life struggles they were facing. This gift drew many to her for consultation and loving support. She will greatly be missed by her family and many friends.
Florence was preceded in death by her brother Augustus Lukens Jr. Florence was survived by Sons, Raymond E. Kellow, Jr. (Margaret), Santa Fe., NM, John F. Kellow, Boulder, CO; daughter Kimberlee Kellow (Steven Crane), Tuscon, AZ; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
