Fern Levin, 85 of Boulder, died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Frasier Meadows.
A private family service will be scheduled in Chicago, IL.
Fern was born February 26, 1929 in Chicago, IL to Solomon Freed and Sarah Goldberg Freed. She attended the University of Illinois and obtained her B.S. in teaching the hearing impaired in 1950. One year prior in 1949 she married Conrad Levin.
Fern moved to Boulder from the Chicago area in 1993. After 12 years in Boulder living in Shanahan Ridge, Fern moved to Frasier Meadows. Hobbies she loved were: reading, hiking, and music concerts of all kinds classical, folk, Bluegrass, Dixieland and old time jazz.
Survivors include one son, Daniel Levin of Las Vegas, NV; grandson, Adam Koestline of Dallas, TX, and brother, Bob Freed of Lincolnwood, IL.
