She attended Lankenaw Nursing School at Shippensburg State College as well as the University of Pittsburgh. She is survived by her son, Rajan Julka of Manlius, NY, a daughter, Sonia King of Alexandria, VA and two sisters; Nora Smith of Loveland, CO and Nancy Doak of Hernando, FL.
