Baptized and confirmed, Doris became a child of God as a young child and heard the call early to missionary work. When the time came to train for that, the call to marriage was greater. From then on, she made the church her second home wherever she found herself.
Teaching Sunday School, playing the organ, directing the choir, and leading Bible studies were some of the tasks she enjoyed (especially when she was able to step in and fill a void).
A perpetual community volunteer, she was active as a stay-at-home Mom in many civic activities while her family was growing up, especially scouting, parent-teacher groups, women’s club, library work, and hospital auxiliaries.
A memorial service and celebration of Doris’s life are scheduled for Saturday May 23rd at 10:30 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church , 2200 Broadway Street in Boulder, CO.
Contributions in her honor can be made to Tru Community Care, 2594 Trailridge Drive East, Lafayette, CO 80026
The family of Doris Esther Neumann are grateful to God for her life and indebted to her friends for their love and kindness.
