Craig Granzow of Cenntennial, Colorado, passed away on September 8, 2017, at his home, with family at his side.
Craig was born in Hampton, Iowa, on February 19, 1947, and grew up on the family farm northwest of Iowa Falls. He graduated from Iowa Falls High School in 1965 and Ellsworth Community College in 1967. He began his lifelong career as a pilot in Iowa Falls, taking lessons at the local airport. He was head
pilot for
John Ruan of Des Moines, Iowa, and John Denver of Aspen, Colorado, during his flying career.
Craig married his wife Cordie on
March 28, 1997. The two were avid golfers.
He loved the mountains, and lived in the Denver area for the past 42 years.
Craig was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda, and an infant son, Bradley, as well as his parents, Douglas and Charlotte.
He is survived by his wife Cordie of Centennial, Colorado; brothers Steve (Linda) of Helena, Montana, and Brent (Gayle) of Iowa Falls, Iowa;
daughter Katie; granddaughters Nicole, Jamie, and Kimberly; great-granddaughter Easton; and nieces and nephews.
