Ann “Nancy” Winston, 78, passed away on February 26th in Wheatridge, CO after a long battle with cancer.
Nancy was born May 23rd, 1938 in Illinois to parents Phillip Keppeler and Florence Brown Keppeler. After moving to Boulder from the Chicago area in the mid-1970s, Nancy graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Accounting. She worked as a self-employed C.P.A. for the duration of her professional career. In addition, Nancy was an active member of the community. She volunteered at food banks, Kiwanis, I Have a Dream Foundation, and Good Samaritan Hospital, among others. Nancy loved all kinds of sports, singing in church choirs, and pets.
Survivors include her son, Steven Winston (Lafayette, CO), her daughter, Amy Winston, her husband John Crowther (Denver, CO), her brother, Frank Keppeler (Vista, CA), as well as her nephews, nieces, their families and three granddogs.
A memorial service will take place on March 3rd at 11:00 AM at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Broomfield, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ensightskills.org or LFSCO.org. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
