Alice L. Sharp, 95 of Longmont, formerly of Denver, passed away on Nov. 16th. Originally from Oklahoma, she was a graduate of Shawnee High School. She also attended the University of Oklahoma and Denver University. In 1988 she retired as a librarian from the Colorado State Historical Society in Denver.
Enjoyed an active lifestyle traveling the world and joining many clubs including Gamma Phi Beta, DAR, Happy Heart Quilting Bee, Columbine Quilters, UNESCO, Friendship Force, Colorado Mountain Club, Colorado Trail Foundation, and more.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert D. Stroud. Her surviving family includes 3 children: Jon C. Sharp, Jannette Wesley, & and Christina Grant, 2 grandsons, and 3 great-grandsons.
Memorial services will be Saturday, Jan 13th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Jefferson Unitarian Church where she was an active member, 14350 West 32nd St. in Golden, CO 80401.
