After they moved to San Francisco in 1962, their son Graham was born. Another move brought them to Yellow Springs, Ohio, where daughter Tiffany was born in 1965. A final move brought the family back to Boulder in 1968, where Dave had a celebrated and successful career as a geography professor at CU. He retired in 1999 and delighted in spending time with family, traveling and helping raise his grandchildren.
